As one of the world’s leading universities in engineering, we place great emphasis on international connections and programs that allow students to experience studies and activities around the globe. The Technion Institute welcomes all abroad students to join our study and research programs.  

BSc in Engineering or Science Program - 1st year in English

In this program, students will study foundational courses in  in Calculus, Algebra, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering in English in the first year. At the same time, students will study Hebrew, with the goal of integrating into regular Hebrew courses from the second year onwards. The program is structured in a flexible way to allow students to integrate into a number of engineering and science programs at Technion.

The tracks offered are the following: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology and Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, double major in Chemistry and Biology, or double major in Chemistry and Materials Science and Engineering.

Study Abroad for Incoming Students

Students can apply to study abroad at Technion International if they are in their second year of undergraduate studies or above. The study abroad program includes off-campus activities, as well as business and industry site visits. Students from all around the world can apply for this program through Technion International. All courses in the study abroad program are taught entirely in English.

Student Exchange – Study Period at a University Abroad

The Technion has established more than 200 partnership agreements with academic institutions worldwide and developed student exchange and mobility programs with over 60 international institutions.

We invite you, our students, to spend one semester studying at one of the Technion’s partner universities and receive partial academic credit toward your Technion degree.

Application Process

Application Form for the Program

In the application form, you may rank up to five universities. We recommend selecting and ranking academic institutions of varying competitiveness to increase your chances of being accepted to at least one of your chosen universities.

The application process takes place once a year.
