Insurance for students

During their studies, students may be entitled to various types of insurance coverage, depending on the nature of their academic activities.

This page provides information about relevant insurance coverage and the responsible offices.

 

Professional Training Insurance

Professional training insurance (through the National Insurance Institute) is intended to cover students during academic activities that include practical work or professional training, such as: Laboratories, Internships, Practicum, Field work, Training in hospitals or industry settings

Personal Accident Insurance

Personal accident insurance is a policy that provides financial compensation in the event of bodily injury resulting from an accident.

A personal accident insurance policy for students is available through the Technion Student Association (ASAT).
