Complaint Submission Procedure

The Technion and the School of Undergraduate Studies are committed to ensur that every student enjoys a fair, transparent, and respectful academic experience.
We make continuous efforts to improve processes, provide accessible information, and offer professional and timely responses with genuine goal of maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and equitable learning environment.

If during your studies, you experience a situation or conduct that you believe is improper or unfair including issues related to personal treatment, evaluation, or conduct within a course or with a lecturer, you may act according to the steps detailed below, based on the nature of your concern.

In every inquiry, please make sure to include:
your full name, ID number, the subject of the complaint (course name and number, if relevant), a description of the issue or incident, a brief summary of any verbal discussions (if held), a short description of previous responses or actions taken at earlier stages (if relevant), and the solution you are seeking.
You may attach supporting documents.

  1. Academic Issues

Please contact the relevant authorities in the following order:

  1. First, contact the faculty coordinator, attaching all relevant details. The coordinator will direct your inquiry to the appropriate person within the faculty.
    A. If the response you received is unsatisfactory, you may contact the Dean of the Faculty.
    B. If the response at this stage is still unsatisfactory, you may contact the Dean of the School of Undergraduate Studies at ugDean@technion.ac.il
    (Please attach relevant documents and all correspondence and responses from previous authorities.)
    C. If the issue remains unresolved, you may contact the Student Ombudsperson at StudentsOmbudsman@technion.ac.il
    (Complaints submitted to the Ombudsperson before completing stages A–C will be referred back for completion of the earlier steps.)
  2. Administrative Issues

For administrative matters, it is recommended to contact the relevant office directly (for example: tuition-related issues  Student Accounts Office; parking – Bitahon Unit, etc.).

  1. Non-Academic Issues

For non-academic matters (such as scholarships, student dormitories, emotional support, cultural activities, etc.), please contact the Dean of Students at dean@technion.ac.il

  1. Sexual Harassment Complaints

For complaints regarding sexual harassment, please contact the Technion Commissioner for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at harassprev-c@technion.ac.il
